New Ardsley Grocer Prioritizes Quick, Fresh Service. - from Rivertowns Daily.

ARDSLEY, N.Y. – Fresh convenience. That’s what Jamal Alrubai wants people to find when they step into Ardsley Market Fresh.

Located at 645 Saw Mill River Road and stocked with upscale, gourmet deli and food items, Alrubai said his mission is to make shopping for groceries easy and delicious.

“We have everything you need,” said Alrubai, 36. “Our store prides itself on having quality organic goods in addition to everything you would find at an everyday convenience store.” Ardsley Market Fresh, which opened Sept. 29, has not lacked excitement or challenges in their first six weeks. It can thank Hurricane Sandy for that.

“People loved us for being open,” said Alrubai. “It was really the first time many people got to experience what we have to offer because, from what I understand, we were one of the only stores open — and with ice. It was great to see so many new faces.”
